1/27/12  HAPPY 25th BIRTHDAY to our nephew and cousin, Evan!!
May God bless your walk with Him.

1/23/12  Looks like Faith's CD will become a reality soon since getting help
from the Prowell family, another bluegrass family.  Thanks, Scott!

1/17/12  Yesterday I found I've forgotten you again
But this morn' I prayed forgiveness for my sin
And even though I try so hard
I just don't understand
I don't know where to start.

But you were my Savior 'er the stars were made.
And You were my Keeper 'er this earth was born.
And You were my Maker 'er the plants were formed!

'Yesterday I'd Forgotten You' by Faith Grubb from her upcoming CD 'Am I So Different'

1/12/12  WELCOME Aaron Lemanz Diesel!!  Born today at 10:51a to Aaron
and Tiffany.  He was 6.01 lbs. and 18"!

I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are
thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.  My substance was not hid
from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts
of the earth.  Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect;
and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance
were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them. (Ps. 139:14-16)

1/10/12 Something we forgot to mention with all the hustle and bustle... Our sweet little boy, James, turned a BIG 16 on Christmas Day!!

1/3/2012!  Grampa is 75 today!  Thank you for your beautiful harmonica
playing you shared with us last weekend.  May God bless you and Jaki
!

12/29/11   Had a blessed Christmas, in our house addition for the first time!  Loving the fall-like weather outside today as we pick up, play on the 4-wheeler, and chase loose hogs and dogs...

12/21/11  "Daniel Prayed" will always be special to us since a dear friend of ours
whom we had the privilege of knowing for the past 7 years passed away last week.
We'll miss you, Weston, and Joshi will miss his rides on your electric scooter chair.

11/23/11 I am so thankful for our warm and cozy add-on to our
house that our Lord has helped us build and the gifts my wonderful
family
gave me for my
13th birthday! ~Abigail
I am so thankful for a 4-wheeler that James and I worked at our
neighbor's house for!  (It's just like the one that burned up awhile ago.) ~Joshua
I'm thankful for the many lessons learned this year (and wise parents who
helped me through them).  For the new (old) cars (and all that one
learns from that), health, and God-given family and friends!  ~Melody

I thank God for electric wiring, a big house and health!  ~John W.
I'm thankful that we got the house clean, the door leveled
and the new porch done!  ~James

I'm thankful for my part-time babysitting job, a car of my own, brothers to fix it, time to sew, health, and plenty!  And thank you to God for being there as well as
communicating to the populace with the 180movie!  ~Faith
I am thankful for the Lord as my personal Savior and the many challenges
I'm going through right now, our warm house (since last year when it was freezing!)
and, of course, family. ~Christina
Happy Thanksgiving from the Grubb family!!

"If people don't see the comparison of the killing of six million Jews with the slaughter of nearly sixty million Americans through abortion, it's probably because they don't consider a baby in the womb to be human. That's exactly what Hitler did with the Jews. He said that they weren't human, and then he made billions when he killed them and seized their assets. American abortion makes billions through the slaughter of the unborn, and like the Nazi machine it is a well-run money-making industry that has been successful in brainwashing millions into believing that a baby is something other than a baby."
~Ray Comfort

11/21/11  Our precious angel, Abigail, is 13 today!  May she have many blessed years.

11/20/11  Is America
"turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and
denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ"
even as Sodom and Gomorrha?
Will He have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrha "for
setting them as an example to
suffer the vengeance of eternal fire"?
"But ye, beloved,...Keep yourselves in the love of God,
looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life."  -Jude

11/17/11  We have a new 25 year old young woman in our home now!
Christy is keeping very busy with her blog, house cleaning, nanny-ing and
publishing site.  John Walter
is now our #5 Official Offspring Driver!

11/11/11  Today is a great day to tear up our front porch with its
expanding plywood and chipping paint and replace it with 5/4" green deck
boards!!  While the boys are busy doing that, we girls are 'fall-cleaning'
getting ready for Thankgiving and Family.  Stop by if you're in the area!

10/29/11  Met a man last night who said he was internationally-known
and very wealthy but lost it all.  When he found himself sleeping on the pavement
and on drugs and drinking, he decided to turn from his life of sin and
serve the One who wiped away
his filthy life with His shed blood!

10/26/11  Listening to Flylady these days, getting more organized
around here to tackle the many birthdays and holidays we
have coming up real soon!  She's been a great encouragement to us in the past.

10/21/11  Today we celebrate the 30th birthday of our son, Aaron!!
We love and miss you dearly.
May our Lord Jesus direct you and give you His wisdom in the years ahead!

10/12/11  God is doing mighty things today!   GospelGrass in Glen Rose, TX
was unforgettable-uplifting and encouraging to say the least.  God's people
are alive and well as is our Savior, Lord Jesus!

10/04/11  John and James just got our new music room all wired in with the
sockets and light fixture these last two days and now are celebrating
jammin' with elec. guitar and drums!  All of us girls are looking forward to
tonight's
Preparing to Be a HelpMeet meeting!

10/02/11 We're praising God for NO WIND this afternoon when our four-wheeler caught fire when Dad and the guys were out having some fun.
We're SO grateful no one was hurt!!  (It only
claimed some of our cedar trees.)
Thanks also to our volunteer fire departments that came and saved it
from causing any damage to our houses or property.

9/26/11  We were saddened to hear about a dear friend and musician's husband
who drowned last Friday.  A friend said, "She is amazingly strong, holding to
her faith and finding comfort in the knowledge that her Vic is safe in the
arms of God." Lord, comfort their family
.  In Jesus' name.

9/21/11  We girls and Mom enjoyed discussing and studying Preparing to Be a HelpMeet upstairs in our new room last night, while Dad and the boys worked up a new song- "No Place to Hide" by Alison Krauss and Union Station (who else?)! Looking forward to playing at the Coffee Creek Fall Fest & Jam this weekend-- hope to see you there!

9/17/11 We had a wonderful encouraging time at the Arbuckle Bluegrass Fest
this past weekend!  Met up with good friends and met some aspiring new
bands we hadn't met before.  We are so thankful for the cold and rainy weather!

9/9/11 For our special Friday lunch movie today we watched a
documentary on 9/11 by Jay Sekulo.  Watch it here!
Got Ron Block's 'Doorway' CD and it is just as awesome as his first!
We're inspired by men who are standing for right in this world:
They're able to influence so many for the good in the position God has them.
